Kath in VA

This was such a lovely memory to share with us! Thank you for helping us know the real people behind the big names.

What an absolutely delightful tribute to P.D. James and the other interesting dignitaries on your cruise! I cannot imagine you feeling the least squeamish about this adventure, but your admission was quite endearing and will, I predict, give encouragement to anyone who feels insecure about embarking on new undertakings. I have no doubt their memories of you were just a warm.

Thank you, Kath. It was such an honor to meet all those people aboard ship. Happiest New Year to you and yours!

This post drew me in somehow, although I'd lapsed reading your messages for awhile. And I'm so happy I resumed! I loved the writing style, the content, the message...and even my own trans-Atlantic crossing memories from '67, although my companions were not even close to illustrious.

Well done!

I wouldn't think of missing one of your messages. Love your style and topics. Keep it going and THANK YOU!

Dear Steve, I am filled with gratitude upon reading your post. I so appreciate and will always cherish the personally autographed PD James book you gifted me after your journey. It is even more special now that I've read your lovely prose. Thank you! Julie Morton

A wonderful, heart-filled story. I could almost hear the strum of the ship's engines. Thank you for sharing.
