That is the most awesome story ever! Now I need a True Writer, and learn to write like that. You made my day.

Elizabeth H. Cottrell

Congratulations on the True Writer's anniversary. Mine has given me many hours of writing pleasure and generated many notes that I hope have comforted, encouraged, or inspired their recipients.

And thank you for this wonderful story. I have a stash of letters from my grandfather that I cherish too.

There is something very grounding and spiritual when one can connect the goodness of the past with present day life. This story is an excellent example. Thanks for sharing!

What a beautiful way to honor your grandfather. All of my Levenger pens are special. I'm so glad that many others have the same kind of appreciation.

That is a very wonderful tribute to your Grand Father. I have 52 pens of various pen makers. True writer, Shaeffer, Levenger, Mount Blanc, Cross, and many others. Each has its own color and brand. And yes you tell the variations of the inks. I intend to give them to my one grandson. As he likes to write pen and ink.I do buy most of my ink from Levenger, it always flows. I order it when I have to. I have written with a fountain pen since 1952.
